Directions (to replace battery cells) :

Twist the battery cap at the bottom, to the left.
Insert AA battery cells inside the given slot.
If inserted correctly, the toothbrush will turn on.
Once done, twist the battery cap right back on, to the right side.
Make sure the cap is tight and sealed shut.
